Mark was adventurous, though not in the traditional sense; he was spontaneous and would suggest late-night bowling on New Year’s Eve. During this time, we lived life to the fullest and Parkinson’s was a distant cousin. We were aware, took progressive measures, but did not let “it” control our daily lives.

Centers of Excellence in Ohio and Wisconsin

The Parkinson’s Foundation has announced the promotion of two Centers of Excellence, both recognized for providing outstanding clinical care for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Center for Parkinson’s Disease and Other Movement Disorders in Columbus and Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, Wis. join more than 50 designated Centers of Excellence across the country.
